It’s a fact that communication skills are extremely important for success in both personal and professional lives. It helps build self-confidence, lets us easily express our ideas and opinions, and positively impacts others. You will find this skill common among successful people.
However, many people find it difficult to start a conversation with anyone other than the people they already know. They aren’t introverts; they want to talk to new people but can’t gather enough courage and stutter while communicating.
My Story
I was the same, so I kept from talking to new people. But it makes you appear a socially awkward person to others and an unconfident person to yourself.
I turned to watching videos about communication skills. But most YouTubers teach an alpha-man style of communication, which is of little to no use.
These tips are not practical for making friends, and I don’t think they truly understand their audience. So I then turned to books like How to Make Friends and Influence People; they were better.
